The overwhelming majority of the Protestant population of the North of Ireland want absolutely nothing to do with the Orange Order, loyalist thugs and dictates from the glorified dolemen in the House on the Hill. All of those who get involved in loyalism are medically-dependent or have drawn unemployment payments and disability allowances all their life. In the case of Sinn Fein, the ringleaders of nationalism and glorified discussion groups have the mentality of feral rats. The Orange Order and remaining vestiges of the Castle Catholic element are similarly endowed with zero common sense.
Most of these people do not work and have no livelihood or occupation.
What loyalists are led to disbelieve is that the main obstacle to civil peace is the police. The health service is its ready attendant. Both are government agencies which are involved in serious wrongdoing.
The truth of the matter is that insurrection and paramilitary violence has given way to police excess and medical abuse of the ambient citizens and British subjects.
Noone trusts the police. Its entire footprint out of a population of two million souls is 25 000 despite generations of favourable publicity in the press and media. It is a declining force in the regulation of civil society. Its future role is largely in abeyance and as even the country wiseacres realised twenty years ago (in out of the way places such as Ederney and Roslea and Newtownbutler) the future of the North's alignment is up for discussion behind closed doors and international carpetbaggers with constitutional position papers will soon be crawling over the remains of the Northern Ireland state.
